Edmundo Garcia

Painter trained at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. His practice moves between studio work and public space, with a particular interest in the processes involved in the construction of contemporary image.

He has exhibited in cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Budapest, and Funchal, and has developed projects at institutions including Godsbanen (Denmark), Konvent Zero (Berga), and Manifatture Knos (Italy). Co-founder of El Corralito, Majara Studio, and Acaudmur—self-managed initiatives dedicated to artistic creation and mediation—he has been recognized as an outstanding student of his graduating class and selected as a finalist in several national awards, including the Banc Sabadell Foundation Emerging Art Prize.
